Ahmayla is a leather bag shop. Not one style and not one silhouette — a working range of bags for whatever the day asks of you.

What we stock

Totes big enough for a laptop. Structured top-handle bags for the days that need a little formality. Soft suede shoulder bags that go anywhere. Mini and crossbody pieces for when you want your hands free, and small evening bags for when you barely want to carry anything at all.

The materials

Most of what we sell is genuine leather, and we are specific about which kind — hammered Dollaro from Tuscany, saffiano calf, full-grain, python-embossed, suede, and leather woven by hand. A great deal of it is made in Italy, often in small family workshops. We also carry natural raffia trimmed in leather, and a small number of vegan and faux-leather pieces for people who want them.

Every product page states exactly what the bag is made of and where it was made — including when it is not leather. We would rather tell you plainly than let you find out after it arrives.

How we buy

We buy in small quantities from makers we have checked out ourselves, which is why you will often see only one of something in stock. When a bag sells, it is gone until we can get another. Nothing here arrives by the pallet.

What we care about

Bags that get carried, not stored. Straps that hold up. Leather that ages instead of peeling. A shape that still works after a year of daily use. We would rather sell a short list of bags we can stand behind than a long catalogue we cannot.

Shipping and returns

We ship worldwide — a flat €5 within Ireland and a flat €10 everywhere else, with no surprise charges at checkout. You have 30 days to return anything that is not right for you, and customers in the EU have an additional 14-day cancellation right. Full details are on the shipping & returns page.
